I haven’t shown you these socks when I knit them because they were intended as a (surprise) present for a dear friend, who stops by here every now and then. Now though, that the socks have moved into their new home in the Pacific Northwest, it is safe to show them here. I am also very proud to report that they came in third in the bi-monthly contest of the German sock knitters group on Ravelry.
