Every summer our neighbors rent two sheep to take care of the grass on their little apple orchard adjacent to our garden. They are different animals each year, but sooner or later they always figure out how yummy the plants taste on our side of the fence, particularly the flowers. The sheep vary in audacity. This year they are rather daring in their enterprise to chomp off as much as they can. They figured out that stepping on the wire fence allows them to stretch their necks a few inches further into the deliciousness of our garden.
